DOLPHINS &
LARGER MARINE LIFE

 

While there is an abundance of smaller fish, our ocean and reefs are also home to quite a lot of larger and majestic marine life.  Eagle and spotted rays, reef sharks, and our island favorite - JoJo the dolphin.

 

JoJo is our famous and friendly dolphin that has inhabited the water of the Turks and Caicos since the 1980’s. Although there is no guarantee, we can almost always find JoJo and his family while cruising around the North Shore. They love to play and jump in the wake of our boat and if you jump in the water with them, they will usually engage at a safe distance.

 

If we are lucky enough to encounter these majestic creatures, make sure to never reach out and try to touch them. We have to keep in mind the safety of the animals and be respectful of their environment and home!
